Olive Trees of Salento: Raku Ceramic Vase
Raku vase. There are millions of olive trees affected by the Xylella fastidiosa bacteria, dead or dying in Salento, Italy. The sight of the centennial groves was so sad and moving I created this raku sculptural vessel as a kind of a tribute.
