L’Artigiano in Fiera: Exhibition and Fair in Milan

I got the opportunity to represent Hungary in the consulate’s booth at the world’s largest arts and crafts exhibition and fair in Milan, L’Artigiano in Fiera. It was a fantastic experience, I am grateful for this chance to Consul General Timaffy Judit Vilma, and for the kind of help of Kati Egri and Filippo Farkas. It was nine long and hard, but unforgettable days.

We needed an hour and a half to figure out the layout of the booth using Karton Design‘s paper furniture, but we needed a lot less to actually build it. And they took up virtually no space in the car. We appreciate the designer János Terbe’s quick and kind help.

I wore kridea‘s felt pouch case every day. I love it as it’s a comfortable accessory and it has a special touch and feel. I appreciate it very much, it was a bit like Kriszta was there with me in Milan.

Once or twice a day I left the booth and did a demonstration with the potter’s wheel. Children loved it. The portable wheel and the clay for the demonstration was kindly provided by Interkerám Kft. from Hungary. I’m really tankful for that.
